Pat Mason Update
Pat Mason is recovering nicely from her recent surgery. We wish her a speedy recovery so she can get back to being the Number 1 Adoption Counselor!
Sad News..We lost one of our own.
John Carlile, one of our seasoned volunteers, passed away on Saturday Nov. 13 after complications from heart surgery.
John helped out with the photography and was a driver for rescue delivery and the MAV. His help, big smile and wonderful outlook on life will be greatly missed. His wishes were to have no services but we are working with his family in order to have a plaque at HCAS where we can honor him.
We will keep you updated on the progress.
CRATES ARE NEEDED!
We need crates badly. If you are no longer using a crate for a transition dog, please return it to us so we can use it for another pup. See Cathy Carr.
New Procedures coming soon!
We are coming out with new procedurees for taking out dogs in the stray/wait area for possible transition or PBA’s. We will let everyone know as soon as they are ready.
2011 Calenders!!
The 2011 Calenders are complete. We need people to help put them together and to buy and or sell um! All profits go to the Volunteer Fund to help the critters! Please contact Terrie if you help OR if you want to view them and/or order them!
Pet Expo a BIG Success!!
I don’t know the final tally for HCAS, but the whole tally for the Expo saw over 400 animals get homes!
