Rest in Peace Little Boy.
At the end of 2010 a promise was made by a few of us in the quiet of vet services to a dying young boy who touched those he knew at HCAS. It was a brief moment in time for him. We warmed him with fluids and blankets and gentle strokes of loving touch on his depleted soul. He was our Christmas wish for a better year in 2011. We keep working to save lives. In spite of the anger we move passion to reason and do our job.
The words above are Pam Perry’s, Animal Abuse Investigator.
The pup was an abused pup who lived only long enough to know love a short time, but, became a ‘promise’.
Updates from Pam..7-28-2011
- Widdle puppies
- Debbie and Swiss
- Red
- sweetbay Martin
The 5 IK pit pups are cleared and we are looking for rescue.
IK (Investigation Kennel) Swiss and Red passed their PBA evaluations !!!!!!!!!! and they have been moved to the ADOPTraining program kennels pen 152 and 179 ( Red is HW+ and Connie is working that )
Sweetbay Martin is our new PBA. He is a a 2 yr. old male blue and white in pen 149. ( Martin was trying to get into the Sweetbay grocery store for some goodies and the Mgr. called us to pick him up )

IK Brownie 2 yr old female lab mix ( HW+) is in search of a transition. Terrie has before and after photos. Brownie needs our help. She has come from squalor and starvation, and needs a home to continue healing in.
We have an adoption application on ADOPT girl Lacey.. pending home inspection.
We have a young male fawn pit named Blade in pen 120 who passed his PBA evaluation today. ( he is HW+ and looks rough ) but he has a heart of gold. We are looking for rescue.
**We are on-call next week for the Jury Trial for Harpo and Midas. As soon as I hear that we are a go for trial I will put the word out with courtroom details and times.

Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.
